These wonderful blended socks are made of 50% alpaca, 50% acrylic,reinforced with nylon and spandex for EXTREME weather!

These are great socks for hiking. I wear them with and without liners depending on the temperature. They’re very soft, warm, but not hot, and last pretty good because they’re mixed with other more durable fabrics. They do pill a lot, but that’s normal. I wash mine in cold and hang dry.
I bought mine to do a 7 day trek with RPI through Peru to Machu Picchu. They washed easily at night and were dry by morning, but had to wring out inside a towel to get most of the water out. Never smelled.
